The year 2014 had a slow start with big viral stories. The biggest stories are often lauched earlier, to benefit from the Christmas spirit, and also big events like the Super Bowl and the winter Olympics stole a lot of attention. But not to worry, there are still great stories to tell. This our selection of the biggest stories of January and February 2014.
At the end of the year we tend to look back and make lists. In december we have seen a lot of those best of 2013 stories. Luckily we have also seen some great stories. This is our selection of the viral stories that stood out.

Each month we select the biggest stories. It’s always hard to make the final selection, but we have succeeded. There are no specific selection criteria, apart from the fact that we have seen these stories go viral. Why? Because they are funny, beautiful, thought provoking or just stood out. If we have selected the right stories than they should not really be new to you.
Sometimes ideas can become contagious. They spread like the flu. There is a word to describe this phenomenon, it’s called a meme.
